Daily Haryana News, Chandigarh: On the lines of the employees of the Central Government, now in Haryana also, the government employees and pensioners taking salary-pension as per the fifth and sixth pay commission will get more dearness allowance (DA).
The dearness allowance of the employees and pensioners taking advantage of the Sixth Pay Commission has been increased by seven percent. They will now get 246 percent DA instead of 239.
At the same time, the DA of employees and pensioners taking salary under the Fifth Pay Commission has increased by 12 percent. They will be given 455 percent dearness allowance instead of 443.
Orders have been issued in this regard by Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department. The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2024. On November 15, the Central Government had announced to increase the DA of employees under the Fifth and Sixth Pay Commission.
